Phil Osaer
Phil Osaer is Detroit Red Wings Head of Goaltending Scouting and Development. Phil’s role with the Red Wings involves all things goaltending including pro and amateur scouting as well as prospect development. Before taking his current job with the Red Wings, Osaer served as the Goalie Scout for the Tampa Bay Lighting.
Prior to his tenure in the NHL, Osaer was the architect of USA Hockey's Goalie Coach Development Program, where he coached multiple USA National and National Select teams. Osaer has also served as a goalie coach mentor for the International Ice Hockey Federation as well as Director of Hockey Operations at Michigan State and coach in the USHL.
